Which brings me to a thought I had yesterday. You see, I wanted to send a TXT message while driving. But, as we’ve all learned by now (special thanks to Oprah Winfrey) that is a big no no and for good reason. TXTing + Driving = Bad Mojo. Immediately I longed for an app that allowed me to send a txt message in 3 clicks.
The app would be super simple. Input any number of predefined messages during the setup process. It could be as simple as “I’m on my way home” to something as ridiculous as “OMG! I just saw Sylvester Stallone and Dolph Lundgren drive by me in a new Tesla. Rocky vs Drago!!!!! #dingding”
After you’re happy with your first set of predefined messages, the app is ready to go. When the need arises to send a quick message, simply:
- Fire up the app
- Select the message to send
- Select the recipient(s)
In a way, it’s kind of like Snapchat. Boom Boom POW! Or better yet, it’s like the recently highlighted YO app. I guess there is something to be said about simplicity. More on this later in another post: The
Internet Simplicity of Things.
So, what do you think of the new YO app? Brilliant or Ridiculous?
